Getting yourself unstuck

IMG_8923Beginning in May 2016 I am offering Walk and Talk sessions around the North Lorn area of Argyll here on the West Coast of Scotland. Inspired by the healing power of being out in nature over the course of my own walking challenge Walking Loch Creran I now feel inspired to take others out.

So much therapeutic work is done inside sitting face-to-face. This has it’s place, but it occurred to me that we might harness the healing power of nature at the same time.

We will walk and talk, allowing you an opportunity to explore and discuss what you would like to change in your life. Then using my skills as an EFT practitioner and coach I will guide you to find the answers to your questions, to unravel what stops you changing and living the vibrant healthy life you love.

I offer a free telephone or Skype initial consultation which is a chance to:

Briefly discuss the changes you wish to make.

Outline where you hope to get to.

Ask any questions you may have

Discuss the ways in which I can help.

 

The Walks
We will decide between us where to walk and for how long. Examples may include:

Using the cycle track especially for those with mobility issues or who are less able or fit.

A walk along Tralee or Ganavan beaches.

For the more adventurous we may explore somewhere from one of my walks ( Walking Loch Creran) or something similar.

There is no need to walk far or fast, we are not trying to take exercise, in fact I envisage lots of  stopping to talk or use EFT tapping. In fact if you would prefer we do not have to walk at all, we can simply find a place in nature and work there.

 

Walk Protocols

For those concerned about privacy we will discuss this in the initial consultation and pick a walk which feels appropriate. We will also agree strategies to deal with interruptions or changes to the plan. As we all know when out in nature anything can happen, especially with the weather here in Argyll.
Clients will need to provide appropriate clothing and footwear to stay warm and dry. I will provide a drink and folding stools for when we stop.

 

Walk Packages

Included in each walk package are the following:

The walking session time together.

My travel time.

A follow-up email.

Homework and other useful practices to support the changes you wish to make.

Additional handouts where appropriate.

When appropriate, suggestions for further resources which may help on your journey.

Each walk will last 1 1/2 hours unless agreed otherwise.

I am frequently asked, how many session will I need?

The answer is more complex than you might think and I honestly cannot say. Some people are fortunate their issues are simple and easily resolved, for many however, like me, there are depths and layers which can take some time to unravel.

In addition it will also depend to some extent on how much you wish to clear and change in your life. Some people are content to make small changes here and there while others want to delve deeper and take the time to root out what stops them moving forward. They want more of a life audit.

We live in a world that promises instant fixes and solutions, makeovers that take no time at all and promise to radically transform your life. In my experience real lasting change takes time and effort. Our lives can be complex and multi-layered and until we begin our work together we will not know how many aspects need addressed.

However as part of our work together I will be teaching you EFT and other tools and techniques which empower and enable you to do your own healing work. Not only does this save you time and money it puts you in charge of your healing journey, I am there to encourage, inspire and support you as you do the work.
